Fashion Fusion, my 8th fashion show
This one was cool.
I feel like I start all fashion posts off that way. Anyway, I enjoyed wearing the “Larkin” hoodie. It’s a brand and, coincidentally, also the name of my high school.
I really enjoyed the makeup for this one. Later my friend saw it and said I was all “murdered out.” I hadn’t heard that slang term before, but now that I know it, no one can stop me from saying it.
If you can’t tell, we spent the first few minutes of the show pretending to be mannequins. It was the first time I did that. I tried to pick an easy pose because during practice it was super hard to stay in whatever pose I had chosen.
I believe this was from the brand Fashionable Addictions. I modeled for a few different brands this day.
The black pants are my own. I knew they were tight going on, but I guess I wasn’t aware of how tight they look. It’s not for every situation, but I kind of like that look. It makes me look bigger, almost, but in a good way. As if I have a nice round ass and thighs.
This was cool. It’s a real fur from the Master Furrier who also provides for Nordstrom. I don’t know much about fur. Not sure if I’d ever own one, but I did think this one looked pretty cool. No clue which animal it came from.
These are out of order.
I don’t know that I make the best facial expressions, but I do think I’ve improved since my first fashion show.
This show was back in October and was part of Chicago’s Fashion Focus week.
I like this one.
Me with a designer and the store owner. The show was held at House of Trend.
Me with the photographer who took these photos.
Me with a friend. Yes–a friend came to see me! This was the second time a friend came to see me. It’s really meaningful when friends do that. Very nice.
Oh yeah, this is where I made the connection that lead to my current freelance gig. My boss is the lady in the foreground.
Aaaand, I got my first tear sheets! Awesome! I haven’t used them for anything yet, but hey, they’re cool to have.
I did one fashion show after this, in November. That was the one I didn’t receive any photos from. Since then I haven’t done any modeling. I don’t plan on quitting altogether, but I’ll probably just hold off until the weather warms up. I’ve been focused on other things. Oh yeah, I incorporated a business.

You look like a mannequin on the runway. Too much makeup. Not so bad in the bottom photos.
Sorry if that was mean.
It’s not mean; it just shows you aren’t familiar with runway modeling.
I know you’re wearing a lot of makeup, but I think you look hot in those bottom photos in front of the Rolling Out signs.
I like the orange dress you were wearing, except those little wings on your shoulders are goofy. Just the opinion of a regular guy who isn’t into fashion. However, the orange goes well with your fair skin and your bust looks nice in that dress. A wee bit of cleavage and it makes your breasts look nice and round. Figured I could go there, since you mentioned your round ass and thighs.
Thanks. I need to make a new modeling resume and add a Rolling Out photo.
