+Facebook is switching everyone’s profiles over to a time line by Christmas Eve! (Friend me, by the way. I’ll accept you.) From what I can tell, this means your profile can display your creativity more with its large “cover” photo (really cool uses of covers here!) and it’ll be easier for people to cyber stalk your past because they’ll be able to sort old posts by date.

+This Google keyword tool is amazing and fun to play with. Type in any word or phrase and see how many searches there are for it per month–both across the world, and just in your region. You can also see if it is “competitive” or not, i.e., how much work you’d have to put in while doing SEO (search engine optimization/clawing your website’s way to the top of a specific google search).
+Now that I’m learning about SEO I am very surprised to find out that GoDaddy is gaming the system pretty shadily! They are my host provider. Get out of town, GoDaddy! Props to the dude who sleuthed it out. He must feel like a a regular Sherlock Holmes.
+Speaking of nerdy SEO (last one!), Joost is saying that which WordPress permalink type you use will have an impact on your SEO. Good to know. I’m probably going to take his advice and change mine so it doesn’t have the date in it, making Google think older posts aren’t as relevant.
